Have you ever felt like you needed a sad movie just to feel something? Sometimes we want to watch sad films where we know the film will make us sad without knowing the reason why. The following are a few romantic films about a couple where they are separated by death. But don't worry; I won't spoil much for you.

1. Titanic (1997)

A classic story that is impossible for anyone to have never heard. Titanic is a film that tells the story of the Titanic, which sank when it hit an iceberg. On board the ship, there were people from diverse social strata. That's where Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater met. It was on the Titanic that they met, and because of the Titanic too, they were tragically separated by death. The film Titanic was released in 1997, directed by James Cameron. This film stars Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater and Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson.

Having been made in 1976 with the same title, A Star Is Born was made again in 2018, featuring great performances from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper as the main characters. Directed by Bradley Cooper himself, this film tells the story of the famous singer Jackson Maine, whose career gradually fell apart due to Jackson's emotional struggles. However, he suddenly met Ally, and he discovered Ally's talent. Jackson supported Ally to sing until Ally became a successful singer. They both fall in love with each other.
