1. Love, Rosie (2014)

Telling a classic story about friendship to lovers, Alex and Rosie are two friends who go through the twists and turns of their feelings. It was difficult for the two of them to be separated from each other when the two of them had been inseparable since they were little, especially when Alex moved to America. During the times they are figuring themselves out, they keep coming back to each other, although there are many ups and downs in their lives. Starring Lily Collins as Rosie Dunne and Sam Claiflin as Alex Stewart, the movie Love, Rosie revolves around unrequited love, friendship with lovers, miscommunications, and repression.

2. Atonement (2007)

Set in the 1930s, Atonement explores the deranged behavior someone would do from jealousy. The movie starts with the tension between Cecilia and Robbie Turner, the Tallis family housekeeper's son and Cecilia's childhood friend. They form an undeniable chemistry with each other and begin to write letters. Unfortunately, Cecilia's sister, Briony Tallis, a 13-year-old English girl with a writing talent, finds the letter and is disgusted by it. Briony secretly has a crush on Robbie. To prevent Cecilia and Robbie getting together, Briony, with her wild imagination, does the unthinkable to lie about Robbie's actions. Starring James McAvoy as Robbie Turner and Keira Knightley as Cecilia Tallis, the movie Atonement revolves around tragedy, betrayal, unfolding secrets, and devotion.

3. La La Land (2016)

This film depicts what happens when we live our love lives while achieving our dreams and figuring out our true personalities. Sebastian, a pianist who is starting to give up, meets Mia, an actress who is also almost giving up on starting her career as an actress. They try to reach their dreams and achieve success in their respective fields, but they are trapped in a choice between love and career. On this journey, their love story is tested by struggles with their emotions and their dreams. Starring Emma Stone as Mia and Ryan Gosling as Sebastian Wilder, the movie La La Land revolves around the concepts of dreams, passion, potential, and love.

4. Little Women (2019)

Having been adapted from the novel Little Women many times, the 2019 version of Little Women has a different addition from previous Little Women. With more colorful and eccentric costumes, Little Women is certainly filled with interesting drama that families can definitely enjoy. Tells the story of Jo and her family, Little Women explores the dreams of women. There is nothing wrong when a woman dreams of love that makes her feel safe and secure. The struggle for love in little women also determines how they respond to love, along with the development of their character. The person who is destined for you will not leave, not for friendship, nor for a partner. Starring Saoirse Ronan as Jo March and Timothee Chalamet as Theodore Lawrence, this movie revolves around family, love, intricacy, social class, sisterhood, and friendship.

5. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

What would you do if you could erase the memory of someone you really wanted to forget? This film tells the story of a lonely person named Joel who suddenly meets a woman named Clementine. Clementine is a person who is very enthusiastic about doing anything. This is very interesting for Joel, who feels that his life is constant and boring. However, when the two of them started a relationship, there were several issues they had to face on their love journey. One of their options is to erase their thoughts of each other as if they never existed in each other's lives. Starring Jim Carrey as Joel Barish and Kate Winslet as Clementine Kruczynski, the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind revolves around love intricacy, making memories, and the importance of one's presence.
